The Pheonix is said to never die... but spontaneously self combust and rise from its own ashes.... like a legendary myth this bird becomes a part of your heart.... whilst a flock of them is not for every one a true fancier of fowls will love having one of these magnificent birds in their collection.

There tails grow on for seasons and the skill in maintaining them is the skill in keeping them..... they also make great layers and having a leghorn as an ancestor is a big advantage when it comes to the egg laying department..

In this picture 'Guyfaux' Yes he has a name!!!! is not yet 12 months old... his feathers are truly magnificent and as they grow i will publish more pictures...

He has chickens due in early 2008.
